– The timely delivery of Russian nuclear fuel to Kudankulam NPP proves that Russia is meeting its contractual obligations

The timely delivery of Russian nuclear fuel to Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant proves that Russia is meeting its contractual obligations. Unlike the other countries where Astomstroyexport is building nuclear power plants on a “turnkey” basis, in India we are working in a bit different format: we are supplying equipment, supervising the project and training specialists, while the construction and installation work is being done by the Indians.

I think that Rosatom is showing high managerial flexibility. Today, India is a dynamically developing industrial country and seeks to gain experience in the field of NPP construction. I think that the Indians are doing quite well under the Kudankulam project even though the deadlines may be put off a bit.
