– The construction of Seversk NPP will solve lots of problems in Tomsk region

The ADE-5 reactor was stopped because Russia had relevant obligations.

In Mar 2003 the Ministry of Atomic Energy of Russia and the Department of Energy of the United States signed an agreement for elimination of plutonium production at ADE-4 and ADE-5 reactors in Seversk, Tomsk region, and ADE-2 reactor in Zheleznogorsk, Krasnoyarsk region.

The thermal power plant will certainly help us with heat and light but I am sure that we must develop nuclear energy. The construction of Seversk Nuclear Power Plant will solve lots of problems in Tomsk region as we are planning to actively develop and will need more and more energy.
