The victory of TVEL in the international tender for supply of fuel to the Slovak NPPs has shown that in open competition the winner is the one who offers a high-quality product at a real price.

Rosatom has all necessary technologies  — from uranium mining and processing to production of fuel assemblies – i.e. due to synergic effect we offered Slovenske Elektrarne a more competitive product.

Russia is several years ahead of its rivals in its technological development. That’s why we often win international tenders. As regards the WWER-type reactors , it is obvious that the fuel of foreign design is not good for them  and here we simply have no rivals. So, it is quite natural that the Americans have lost the tender to the Russian producer of the safest and the most stable fuel assemblies for nuclear reactors of Russian design.
