We have still preserved many of the things created by our fathers. Our state has made lots of efforts to create nuclear science. And today we see the results of these efforts. The builders of nuclear science are mostly people over 60. Unfortunately, we have very few young specialists. That’s why our key priority is training of young highly-qualified specialists. We must go back to the situation when young and active physicists were rushing into the industry. And we must help to create this chain – from physics and mathematics schools to professors.

I think that today the most promising directions of nuclear energy are closed fuel cycle and reduction of nuclear waste.

I see that the managers of Rosatom State Corporation are actively trying to help us, senators and deputies, to jointly solve all problems needing legislative support.
