Today, Desnogorsk is the visit card of Smolensk region. Our nuclear power plant is a big benefit for us. Our nuclear power engineers are real professionals and their professionalism attracts other specialists into the region.

Today, Smolensk NPP is one of the safest nuclear facilities. It has a training center and is constantly enhancing the qualification of its personnel. We have never caused problems to the population. As to our authorities, they have always paid special attention to the plant.

We know that our neighbor Belarus is going to build a nuclear power plant. The construction of an NPP is not a quick process but I think that the new plant will help Belarus to develop its economy more effectively. Our training center will train specialists for Belarus as we have friendly relations with our neighbor.
