– We hope that China knows what it wants and understands that we can guarantee the safety of 3rd and 4th reactors of Tianwan NPP

During the 10th China International Nuclear Energy Exhibition «NUCLEAR INDUSTRY, CHINA’2ОО8» (NIС’2008), which set off in Beijing on Mar 25, representatives of Atomenergoprom said that Russian experts would shortly discuss with their Chinese colleagues specific terms of cooperation on the construction of the 3rd and 4th reactors of Tianwan NPP.

We hope that the Chinese side knows what it wants and understands that we will guarantee the efficiency and safety of the reactors. Chinese specialists took an active part in the start-up of the first two reactors, so, they have certain experience and will probably undertake part of the work. China actually wants to have two more reactors and will certainly benefit if they are built. They know what they are buying as they already have two similar products.
