Under Sergey Shmatko Atomstroyexport CJSC has carried out very serious projects. The best example is the construction of the 1st and 2nd units of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant in China. For the moment Atomstroyexport is the only company in the world that is implementing big energy projects in Russia and abroad. The appointment of Shmatko as energy minister reflects the preferences inside the energy sector.

As you may know, one of the key priorities of our national energy strategy is the enlargement of the share of nuclear power plants in the total electricity generation from 16% to 25%.
