Energy unit BN-600 is stopped, because of the planned equipment inspection. The restart of energy unit is to be on 21 May 2006.

Last week there were no changes of radiation and violations against safety rules in the territory of NPP. The radiation and the output of neutral gas in the atmosphere was 0,02% of acceptable level.

Radiation situation in town of Zarechny and its region was natural. Ionizing radiation in town was not more than 5,5 micro-roentgen per hour (0.055 micro zivert per hour). Natural radiation of Russia is from 4 to 20 micro-roentgen per hour (0.04 — 0.2 micro zivert per hour).
