The second and the third energy units are operating at Smolensk NPP. Their total capacity is 2025 MW. There are no complaints for their operation The first energy unit was stopped on October the 4th to carry out a scheduled major overhaul with partial replacement of technological channels.

Since the beginning of the year Smolensk NPP has produced 15 billion 461 million kW per hour into the unified energy network of Russia, which is 44 million kW per hour more than planned quantity for the period. In October the production of the electric power has made 439 million kW per hour, which exceeds the plan by 44 million kW per hour.
