The energy units № 3, 4 and 5 at Novovoronezh NPP operated in the normal mode.

The emissions of radioactive gases and aerosols into the atmosphere in percentage of the allowed levels are:

Inert radioactive gases – 3.0 %

Radioactive iodine-131 – 0.5 %

Radiation condition at the NPP is normal.

The average level of radiation at Novovoronezh NPP, the town of Novovoronezh, and also 20 stations controlled by automated monitoring system of radiation conditions (ASCRO), established in 13 settlements of 30-kilometer zone around the Novovoronezh NPP, corresponded to a level of natural radiation background, which is common for the Central European Part of Russia.
