After the end of a scheduled fuel overload and inspection of the equipment on October the 7th at 20.00 the power unit BN-600 acquired its nominal capacity level.
Last week there were no changes of radiation conditions and infringements of limits and conditions for safe operation at Beloyarsk NPP. The output of radiation as inert gases into the atmosphere was 0.01 % of the allowable level.
Radiation conditions in town of Zarechny and the area of Beloyarsk NPP corresponded to the level of natural background radiation.
The radiation background in the city did not exceed 5.0 micro roentgen per hour (0.05 micro zivert per hour).
The natural radiation background in the territory of Russia ranges from 4 to 20 micro roentgen per hour (from 0.04 to 0.2 micro zivert per hour).
