The emissions of radioactive gases and aerosols into the atmosphere in percentage of the allowed levels are:

Inert radioactive gases – 3.1 %

Radioactive iodine — 131 – 0.3 %

Radiating conditions at the NPP are normal.

The average background radiation in the territory of Novovoronezh NPP, the city of Novovoronezh, and also 20 stations controlled by gauges of the automated monitoring system for radiating conditions (ASCRO), established in 13 settlements of a 30-kilometer zone around Novovoronezh NPP, corresponded to the level of natural background radiation level, which is common for the Central European Part of Russia.
