1st unit of Tianwan NPP operating at 100% of its capacity

Following the Jan 9 permission of the National Nuclear Safety Administration of China (NNSA), the capacity of 1st unit of Tianwan NPP was raised to 100%

As of today, the unit has produced over 1,500,000 MWh

Stationary and demonstration testing is being carried out at the unit. The systems and equipment are working within norm.

The 2nd unit is being prepared for fueling. The equipment has been inspected, the technological systems tested. Now it is for NNSA to sanction the fueling of the unit.
