Russia may build up to 10 nuclear units in India: Russian Vice Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov

«We have agreed on the construction of 4 nuclear units at Kudankulam and some more units on other sites,» Zhukov said.

At the same time, he did not specify how many units Russia plans to build. «Everything will depend on India’s relations with the Nuclear Suppliers Group. If everything will be OK, Russia may build up to 10 units in that country,» Zhukov said.

He admitted that Russia may face the US’ competition on the market: «However, India has a big nuclear energy development program and there will be enough work for all.»
