Planned repairs of 3rd unit of Balakovo NPP is over

The 3rd unit of Balakovo NPP was restarted on Jan 28 2007 1:59 PM after mid-term planned preventive repairs.

Presently, all 4 units of Balakovo NPP are operative.

The plant is working safely and effectively. The radiation background in the nearby area is within norm.
