“On-line” voting has started on the web-site of the Miss Atom-2007 international internet contest

“On-line” voting started on the web-site of the Miss Atom-2007 international internet contest (http://miss2007.nuclear.ru ) on Feb 20 2007. The voting will last till Mar 6 6:00 PM Moscow time. Any internet user having an e-mail can take part in the voting.
 
“We hope that the voting will be fair and impartial and will provide all the contestant-girls with equal chances to win,” says the director of the Nuclear.ru project Ilya Platonov. “It will be very hard to choose as this time we have over 290 contestants from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.”

“We express our deep gratitude to the press services and the PR services of nuclear enterprises for not only announcing the contest but also helping the girls to have their photos taken and placed on-line,” says Platonov.

The organizer of the contest is Nuclear.ru. The general sponsor is Rosenergoatom. The information partners are Atompressa newspaper, REGNUM news agency, Rosatom.ru Press-Center of Nuclear Energy and Industry.

The contest will be held Jan 30-Mar 7 on www.nuclear.ru.

Note:

Miss Atom has been held since 2004. The contest is for female specialists of Rosatom enterprises and organizations and the nuclear power sectors of the former Soviet republics as well as students of specialized educational institutions aged 18–35.

The awarding ceremony will take place in Moscow.
