Techsnabexport, Renova and VTB set up JV for uranium extraction of Namibia

Russian Techsnabexport, Renova and VneshTorgBank have set up a joint venture for the extraction of uranium in Namibia, the head of Rosatom Sergey Kiriyenko said.

“Our companies – Renova and VTB — already have licenses for uranium extraction in Namibia. We have agreed to set up a JV that will prospect and extract uranium,” Kiriyenko said after his meeting with Namibian President Hifikepunye Pohamba.
