Russian nuclear power engineers to shortly put the 1st unit of Tianwan NPP into commercial exploitation

The 1st unit of Tianwan NPP (China) is being prepared for final testing before commercial launch

The preventive repair of the main and auxiliary equipment is over. All planned measures have been fulfilled, and now the unit is being prepared for commercial launch.

Shortly the constructors will start capacity testing, after which the unit will be put into commercial exploitation.

Since its launch the unit has produced 1,918,098 MWh.
