New appointments at Rosenergoatom

Now that Rosenergoatom has launched a large-scale program for developing nuclear energy, building a new unit at Kalnin NPP and promoting new technologies, the concern has decided to make new appointments.

On Mar 14 Director General of Rosenergoatom Sergey Obozov appointed Leonid Martynovchenko as Deputy Director General of Rosenergoatom-Director of Kalinin NPP and Vasily Aksyonov as Rosenergoatom Deputy Technical Director for New Power Units.
 
Note:

Leonid Martynovchenko was born in Novodaryevka, Voroshilovgrad region (Ukraine). In 1970 he graduated from NPP Department of Leningrad Polytechnic Institute.

In 1972–1975 he was engineer at the Operating Service of Krasnoyarsk Mining and Chemical Combine.

In 1975–1985 he was senior engineer of reactor department, deputy shift manager, head of reactor department, shift manager, deputy chief engineer of Kursk NPP-1 (Kurchatov, Kursk region).

1985–1987 he was head of inspection for Kursk NPP of the Southern District Department of Gosatomenergonadzor (Kurchatov).

In 1987–1990 he was head of department, deputy head of the Chief Department of Gosatomenergoatom of USSR (Moscow), in 1990–1991 – head of department o Gospromatomnadzor of USSR (Moscow).

In 1991 Martinovhenko was appointed as head of the Chief Department of the Committee for State Control over Nuclear Safety of the Cabinet of Minister of USSR (Moscow) and, later in the year, as head of department of Gosatomnadzor of RSFSR (Moscow).

In 1991–1992 he was deputy director of Liquid small enterprise of Moscow Regional Organization of Chernobyl Union (Moscow).

In 1992 Martinovchenko was appointed as head of technical support directorate, deputy head of technical support department, head of technical support department, deputy head of scientific-technical support department, head of technical and safety control inspection, deputy inspector general.

He has been awarded the Order for Services to Fatherland, Rosenergoatom gold and silver medals for Contribution of NPP Safety Enhancement, diplomas of Russian Atomic Ministry and Rosatom. He is veteran of nuclear power industry.

Vasily Aksyonov was born in Malakhovo, Nelidovsky district, Kalinin region in 1957. In 1981 he graduated from NPP Department of Moscow Energy Institute. He is candidate of technical sciences.

In 1981–2005 he was operator, senior operator, senior reactor engineer, shift manager, head of reactor department, chief engineer of Kalinin NPP (Udoml, Tver region).

In 2005 Aksyonov was appointed as Deputy Director General of Rosatom-Director of Kalinin NPP.

He has diplomas of Atomic Ministry and Rosatom, Rosenergoatom medal for Conribution of NPP Safety Enhancement. In 2006 is veteran of nuclear power industry.
