Sergey Kiriyenko to meet with heads of nuclear enterprises

Sergey Kiriyenko will take part in the all-Russian conference of managers of nuclear weapons and nuclear energy companies of Russia to be held in Penza on Tuesday, Mar 20

The key objective of the meeting is to see if the technological capacities of Russia’s  weapons enterprises can be used in the construction of new NPPs.

«The preliminary analysis has shown that the weapons complex of Russia does have technologies in the spheres of nuclear and radiation safety and automated process control as well as research and development projects that can be used in the construction of NPPs in the framework of the federal target program of nuclear energy development,» says Kiriyenko.

He notes that such cooperation will give weapons companies additional orders provided that their services are better than those existing on the market.
