Atomstroyexport continues start-up activities at Bushehr NPP

The start-up activities at Bushehr NPP are underway

Presently, Atomstroyexport is flushing the technological systems of the primary coolant.

On Mar 28 the company started filling the first stage accumulators of the emergency cooling zones with desalted water for its subsequent supply to the decompressed reactor.

The primary coolant has four technological safety systems, which will be flushed in turn.

The next stage of the commissioning is the preparation of the reactor for hydro-testing.

Atomstroyexport is the leading Russian organization implementing inter-governmental agreements on the construction of NPPs abroad. Presently, it is the only company in the world that is simultaneously building seven NPP units in China, India, Iran and Bulgaria.
