Sergey Kiriyenko is to visit Luxembourg as the Russian President’s special representative for nuclear energy
On May 24 the head of Rosatom Sergey Kiriyenko is to visit Luxembourg as the Russian President’s Special Representative for Nuclear Energy, reports the press service of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy.
“In the capacity of the president’s special representative for nuclear energy Sergey Kiriyenko will convey the president’s message to the participants in the conference on nuclear disaster prevention and will make a report on how to strengthen the nuclear weapons nonproliferation regime,” says Rosatom’s spokesman Sergey Novikov.
The two-day conference is opening on Thursday, May 24. Almost 50 scientists and political experts from America, Europe, Russia will attend it. The event will be opened by IAEA Director General, Nobel Peace Prize Winner Mohamed ElBaradei.
