A delegation of Rosatom will meet with Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and representatives of Sweden Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences
On June 14 a delegation of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy, led by the deputy head of Rosatom Ivan Kamenskikh and state secretary, the deputy head of Rosatom Nikolay Spassky, will meet with King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf and a delegation of Sweden Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences, led by the president of the academy Hans Dalborg.
The visit of the Swedish delegation is part of the KTM fact-finding mission. Such visits have been made on a regular basis since 1984 and allow Swedish businessmen and scientists to familiarize themselves with interesting spheres and organizations, to establish contacts and to exchange experience.
The objective of this visit is to understand why many international companies and organizations seek to develop their business in Russia. The delegates are especially interested in energy and environment. They are going to study the factors ensuring the growth of the energy sector, particularly, the contribution of scientific research in its development, and to see how Russia solves related ecological problems.
