50 children from Muslumovo, Brodokamlak, Russkaya Techa, N.Petropavlovskoye of Chelyabinsk region have had a rest at “Chaika” Sports and Recreation Camp in Sochi, Krasnodar Krai
This is the first group of children.
The trips have been organized by Rosatom for children from 7 to 16 living in Muslumovo, Brodokamlak, Russkaya Techa and N.Petropavlovskoye, the villages located along Techa river. The children will be taken on excursions to tree nursery and Riviera park, will visit a real apiary and try fresh honey, they will go to factories and tea plantations, will play paint ball and have a good time in aqua-park. Special attention will be given to their health: each morning they will do an exercise on the seashore and if they like they will be taken to Matsesta spa to take mineral and mud baths.
This project is among the winners of Rosatom’s contest of social projects. The contest was organized by the Public Council of Rosatom for public, ecological and non-profit organizations. 145 projects were submitted from Mar 12 2007 till Apr 27 2007. The 49 winners will get a total of 36mln RUR. This is the 2nd contest. Last year it covered only Chelyabinsk region, this year it embraced Leningrad, Murmansk, Kaliningrad, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk regions.
