Rosenergoatom and Power Machines to hold a conference

On June 28 Rosenergoatom Concern and Power Machines OJSC will hold a conference on problems of equipment supplies to NPPs

Representatives of Rosenergoatom Concern and Power Machines OJSC, one of the biggest energy equipment producers in Russia, will meet in St.Petersburg on June 28 2007 to discuss the problems of turbine and generator supplies to NPPs.

The Rosenergoatom delegation will be led by Director General Sergey Obozov and will comprise representatives of Kola NPP, Zarubezhatomenergostroy and Atomenergoproject.

Rosenergoatom is the key executor of the federal nuclear energy development program. In 2007 the concern will start building four nuclear power units, in 2008 – six, in 2009 – ten units. By 2016 the total capacity of the concern’s NPPs will be increased by 1.5 times to 18.6% of the total electricity production.

In this light, Rosenergoatom is interested in stable supply of necessary equipment and Power Machines is one of the key partners in the matter.

The Rosenergoatom delegates will also visit the St.Petersburg Electrosila machine building plant, Leningrad Mechanical Plant and Turbine Blades Plant.
