Rosatom representatives to take part in seminar-conference in St.Petersburg

Rosatom representatives will take part in a seminar-conference at State Regional Training Center in St.Petersburg

On July 5–6 representatives of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy, the Government of Leningrad region, the administration of Sosnovy Bor and Rosenergoatom Concern will conduct a joint seminar-conference on the region’s social-economic development problems related to the construction of Leningrad NPP-2.

The seminar is part of the work of the special working group set up by head of Rosatom Sergey Kiriyenko for drafting a program for the social-economic development of LNPP-2 region.

The conferees will discuss the problems related to the investments that are expected to be made in the region under the LNPP-2 project as well as the existing social-economic development projects, the general scheme for the development of Sosnovy Bor, this and next years’ regional budgets.

The proposals made during the conference will serve as a basis for an agreement between the Government of Leningrad region and Rosatom on cooperation on the programs for social-economic development of Leningrad region and Sosnovy Bor.
