First Vice Prime Minister of Russia: We might cooperate with Uzbekistan on uranium enrichment

First Prime Minister of Russia believes that it may be possible to cooperate with Uzbekistan in the framework of Angarsk International Uranium Enrichment Center

During the Russian President’s meeting with the Cabinet, First Prime Minister of Russia Sergey Ivanov told Mr. Putin about the results of his visit to Uzbekistan. “We might cooperate with that country in mining and enriching uranium in the framework of the international center in Angarsk, together with Kazakhstan and Ukraine.”

“Uzbekistan has promised to give an answer very shortly,” Ivanov said.
