Economic Department of Moscow State University and Rosenergoatom Department for Management of Investment Programs have agreed to conclude a memorandum on strategic partnership.

Representatives of the Department for Management of Investment Programs of Rosenergoatom and the Department for Innovative Policy and Organization of Innovative Activities of Moscow State University met at the Economic Department of MSU on July 9 2007 to discuss methodology for assessing the economic efficiency of long-term investment projects and innovative projects applying the mechanisms of discounting and time and risk management.

Rosenergoatom representatives reported on the strategic investment management system and the investment planning and economic efficiency assessment methodology applied in the nuclear power industry.

The sides pointed out the importance of investment management and the necessity to enhance the economic efficiency of investment projects by introducing innovative theories and methods and applying the best experience in the sphere.

They also discussed the problems of personnel training.

As a result, the sides agreed to continue their cooperation in the framework of memorandum on strategic partnership.
