Rosenergoatom and Iberdrola have discussed cooperation prospects

A delegation of Rosenergoatom Concern led by Deputy Technical Director Nikolay Davidenko visited Madrid on July 26–27 2007. The Russian specialists met with their colleagues from Iberdlola company so as to consider ways of further cooperation.

Particularly, the sides decided to continue their cooperation under the TACIS project for Kola and Novovoronezh NPPs. Iberdrola is the project adviser.

Special attention was given to the use of advanced technologies in nuclear power engineering, particularly, in maintenance and repairs.

The cooperation agreement between Rosenergoatom (Russia) and Iberdrola (Spain) was signed in June 2005.
