Representatives of Rosatom and Defense Ministry have considered draft administrative regulations

On Aug 8 2007 representatives of Rosatom and Defense Ministry met to consider draft administrative regulations concerning “Licensing of Legal Entities Using Radioactive Materials (Nuclear Materials and Radioactive Matters).”

The regulations concern the use of nuclear energy for defense, particularly, the design, production, testing, transportation, operation, storage and disposal of nuclear weapons and nuclear power facilities of military purpose, and are being drafted in line with the government decree N679 (Nov 11 2005) “On the Order of Elaboration and Approval of Administrative Regulations Concerning Execution of State Functions and Provision of State Services.”
