Russia is firmly resolved to win the tender for building NPP in Indonesia

The assistant to the Russian President Sergey Prikhodko says that nuclear energy is one of the most promising spheres of cooperation between Russia and Indonesia: “Indonesia is planning to develop nuclear energy and to launch its first NPP in 2015–2016. In 2009–2010 the country will announce a relevant tender and Russia is already preparing for it.”

“In order to meet the IAEA requirements, in Dec 2006 we signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy. We are ready to send our consultants to Indonesia and are already starting to fight for victory in the tender,” says Prikhodko.
