Yevgeny Sofyin appointed as deputy head of Rosatom

Yevgeny Sofyin has been appointed as Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy

On Sept 11 2007 the Government of the Russian Federation appointed Yevgeny Sofyin as deputy head of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy (Rosatom). Sofyin will supervise the sphere of safety.

Before the appointment Sofyin was the first deputy head of the Department of the Federal Security Safety of Russia for Nizhniy Novgorod region.
