On Oct 11 State Duma is to consider a bill on the establishment of Rosatom state corporation

During its plenary session on Oct 11 State Duma is to consider a bill on the establishment of Rosatom state corporation, First Vice Speaker of State Duma Oleg Morozov said on Wednesday.

The law is aimed at optimizing the work of the gigantic nuclear industry. New organizational structure will allow the corporation to actively enter foreign markets and to attract private investments. The corporation is supposed to replace the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy. It will comprise Atomenergoprom JSC, the nuclear weapons complex, research institutes and nuclear and radiation safety structures.
