In Sept 2007 Rostekhnazor registered just one incident at REA NPPs

There was just one “0” INES incident at Rosenergoatom NPPs in Sept 2007

There was no single accident or emergency at the plants during the period. All of them operated safely. The radiation situation at all of the plants was within norm.

On Sept 6 the main circulation pipeline of unit 5 of Novovoronezh NPP was switched off by the plant’s automatic safety system. The capacity of the unit was reduced to 75%. The problem has already been solved.

As of today, Russia has 10 nuclear power plants operating 31 units with a total capacity of 23.242MW.
