Rosenergoatom Concern granted certificate of honor for its care for pensioners

National Association of Pension Funds has granted Rosenergoatom Concern a certificate of honor

The certificate has been granted for the Concern’s outstanding contribution to the development and support of non-governmental pension policy and compulsory pension insurance.

On occasion of the 15th anniversary of the system of non-governmental pension insurance system of Russia and for outstanding personal contribution to the development and support of non-governmental pension policy and compulsory pension insurance, the National Association of Pension Funds has granted its Badge of Honor to:

Jumberi Tkebuchava, deputy director general-director for personnel management and social and administrative policy of Rosenergoatom Concern;

Viktor Cherkasov, head of Social Programs Department of Rosenergoatom Concern.

Note

Rosenergoatom Concern has undertaken to pay life-time non-governmental pensions to 10,000 former employees.

In the last four years the Concern has allocated 100,000,000 RUR a year for this purpose.

Presently, the size of the Concern’s non-governmental pension is 1,000 RUR.

Only 2% of retired people in Russia get non-governmental pensions.

The National Association of Pension Funds was set up on June 21 2000 and is the only self-regulated organization of non-governmental pension funds of Russia. It has 77 full and 32 associate members. On Jan 1 2007 the aggregate cost of the property of the member funds totaled 494.5bln RUR.
