Chief editors of Rosenergoatom mass media discuss prospects of their work

Chief editors of Rosenergoatom mass media met at Kola NPP today

The editor of “Gerald of Leningrad NPP” newspaper Andrey Bezuglov reports that the chief editors of the corporate mass media of Balakovo, Kursk, Kalinin and Leningrad NPPs and representatives of the State Educational Center (St.Petersburg) took part in the meeting.

The conferees pointed out that the nuclear power industry of Russia is facing serious reforms. In this light, the Rosenergoatom mass media should work hard to promote the positive image of nuclear energy among the population. For this purpose, Rosenergoatom is beginning to intensify contacts among the mass media of the REA nuclear power plants.

The head of the Information and PR Center of Rosenergoatom Ashot Nasibov said that mass media are a link between the management of the concern and its employees and their families. He told the conferees about the Concern’s plans to encourage the work of the mass media of the so-called 30-km zones (areas around nuclear power plants), to work out new mechanism of information support of the newly built nuclear power plants and to consolidate the activities of the corporate mass media.

After the meeting the chief editors visited Kola NPP.
