On Nov 8 the head of Rosatom Sergey Kiriyenko presented a number of employees of nuclear power industry with state awards

A number of specialists of Rosatom enterprises and institutes have been awarded orders and medals for long service and outstanding contribution to the development of the nuclear power industry of Russia.

BY DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Medal of Order for Services to Fatherland, 2nd Class has been awarded to

1. Anatoly Petrov, engineer-radiation monitor of Research Institute of Instruments 

for courage and self-sacrifice during liquidation of Chernobyl accident.

Medal “For Saving Perishing People” has been awarded to

2. Sergey Balitsky, senior engineer of Institute of Physics and Power Engineering

3. Valentin Vayzer, head of department of Institute of Physics and Power Engineering

4. Sergey Silverstov, engineer of Institute of Physics and Power Engineering

5. Vladimir Yakushkin, head of service of Institute of Physics and Power Engineering
