In 2008 Rosenergoatom Concern is planning to earn 15bln RUR on free energy market

In 2008 Rosenergoatom Concern is planning to earn 15bln RUR on free energy market, Acting Director General of the Concern Alexander Lokshin said during a conference on Dec 18.

“This year we gambled on the free market a bit and earned additional 3bln RUR. Next year we are planning to increase our earnings from free market trading due to 5% (and later 10%) liberalization of the market. Besides, we enjoy quite favorable prices on the energy market,” Lokshin said. He pointed out that 15bln RUR is quite a good inflow into Rosenergoatom’s investment program. However, the rules of the energy market are undergoing constant changes and one should be ready for them.
