Web-portal of Rosenergoatom Concern has won the Grand Prix of 8th All-Russian Internet Competition «Golden Site 2007»

The awarding ceremony of the competition took place in Moscow on Dec 6 2007. «Golden Site» is the oldest and the most prestigious internet contest in Russia.

The Virtual Nuclear Energy Museum won the «History», «Informative Site» and «National Endow» nominations. The corporate site of Rosenergoatom Concern won the «Chemical and Petrochemical Industry: Fuel and Energy Complex» nomination.

Thus, the web-portal of the Concern has got five «Golden Cybermaster» statuettes.

The winners, the finalists, the jury as well as media representatives and guests were present at the ceremony.

Among the participants were the corporate sites VTB 24, Gazprom Media, MTV and Sberbank and the promo sites of Russian Railways, Pepsi, Panasonic, Fiat.

The jury was chaired by Timofey Bokaryov, one of the pioneers of Runet, the author of the first Russian internet-resource and the Internet Advertisement Encyclopedia.

The director general of the Press Center of Nuclear Power Industry Dina Kulikova says: «When creating the web-portal of Rosenergoatom Concern we sought to create an interesting and easy to access resource for informing different audiences about the activities of the Concern and the nuclear power industry, as a whole. The awards we have got at different professional contests this year have proved that we have achieved our goal.»

Golden Site

Golden Site is the first all-Russian open internet competition. It has been conducted every year since 1998. The key objective of the contest is to ensure open competition among internet projects and to reveal innovative tendencies in the field of site construction.
