Appointment at OKBM

Dmitry Zverev has been appointed to act as director-general designer of OKBM

On Jan 1 2008 the head of Rosatom appointed Dmitry Zverev to act as director-general designer of I.I.Afrikantov OKB Mechanical Engineering (OKBM, Nizhniy Novgorod) till the reorganization of OKBM into open joint stock company. Before the appointment Zverev was the chief designer of reactor and heat exchanger equipment for WWER and special reactor systems. 

The former director-general designer of OKBM Vitaly Kostin has been appointed as research manager of the company.

After corporization, 100% of OKBM’s shares will be given to Atomenergoprom OJSC.

Note

After graduating from Nuclear Power Plants Department of Gorky Polytechnic Institute in 1984 Dmitry Zverev was employed with OKBM as engineer. Since then he has risen to the position of chief designer. He has been awarded Order “For Services to Fatherland” (2nd class), Medal “Centennial of Submarine Forces of Russia” and Medal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation “Admiral Gorshkov.”
