Acting Head of Rosatom has visited the construction site of Zheleznogorsk TPP

On Mar 5 the acting head of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy Ivan Kamenskikh visited Mining Chemical Combine.

The PR Department of the company reports that the objective of Kamenskikh’s visit to Zheleznogorsk was to see what was going on at local facilities, particularly, at the construction site of Zheleznogorsk Thermal Power Plant.

Kamenskikh met with the director general of MCC Pyotr Gavrilov, the mayor of Zheleznogorsk Gennady Bakhovtsev and the plenipotentiary representative of the governor of Krasnoyarsk region to Zheleznogorsk Vadim Medvedev. When asked to comment on the results of the meeting Kamenskikh said that they had agreed to set up working groups for supervising the construction of Zheleznogorsk TPP and bypass heat pipeline. He said that the pipeline would be ready in time. He said that Rosatom was considering the possibility of involving MCC in the project.
