Unit 4 of Bilibino NPP stopped

Unit 4 of Bilibino NPP was stopped on Feb 26 at 08:26 PM

The stoppage was caused by the failure of one of the regulating elements. Presently, the defect is being removed.

The radiation background at the plant and in the monitoring zone is within norm. Units 2 and 3 are operating at full capacity. Unit 1 is under maintenance.
