Head of Rostekhnadzor confirms resolution of state environmental expertise committee

The head of Rostekhnadzor Konstantin Pulikovsky has confirmed the resolution of the state environmental expertise committee concerning irradiated fuel from Salaspils research reactor

The head of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Control (Rostekhnadzor) Konstantin Pulikovsky has confirmed the positive resolution of the state environmental expertise committee concerning the project to transfer irradiated fuel assemblies and elements from the research reactor of Salaspils (Latvia) into the territory of the Russian Federation.

Rostekhnadzor believes that all the materials of the project comply with ecological standards and has given the green-light to it.
