For a week teams of departments of Bilibino NPP contended in volleyball, football and street-ball

The events took place in a gym provided by the administration of the Northern Electric Networks, the branch of Chukotkaenergo.

Most of the sportsmen were not professionals but everybody was enthusiastic and eager to win.

In football the team of the Reactor and Turbine Department won the first place, the Centralized Maintenance Department was the second, the Thermal Automatics and Measurements Department was the third.

In street-ball the Reactor and Turbine Department was again the best, the Centralized Maintenance Department – the second, the Administration – the third.

In volleyball the Administration was unbeatable with the Safety Service and the Reactor and Turbine Department being the second and the third, respectively.

Young specialists took an active part in the events, among them ten graduates of Ivanovo State Energy University, Ulyanovsk State Polytechnic University and Magadan Vocational College, who have came to Bilibino this year. They work in the reactor and turbine and the centralized maintenance departments. All of them love sport and take part in such events with great pleasure. The fitter of the Centralized Maintenance Department Nikolay Dik is a professional sportsman. In his native Magadan he engaged in Nordic combined events and is planning to represent Bilibino NPP at events of different levels.

The contestants showed excellent form and strong will to win and have proved that Bilibino NPP is in the strong and reliable hands.
