Volgodonsk NPP has marked the Day of Chemist

The key value of the Chemical Department of Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Plant is its specialists: 118 employees, of whom 50 are women. Most of them are professionals, experienced workers, who are presently teaching their young colleagues.

The key objective of the Water Chemistry Laboratory of the Chemical Department is to ensure effective chemical control of the quality of media and technological processes at the plant.

Quality is the only true criteria and guarantee of efficiency, safety and comfort, a guarantee that the human factor will not be left uncontrolled.

This is the basic principle of the work of the Water Chemistry Laboratory of the Chemical Department. Today, we can say with confidence that the money we have spent on the high-tech equipment of our laboratory is yielding excellent results.

Predictability is a pledge of success and safety. To make work controlled and predictable is exactly the strategy of our plant.

In the last years we have substantially toughened our chemical control standards. The laboratory has big capacities and excellent personnel and their calculations are always precise and reliable. The laboratory carries out a wide range of analyses. The work of a chemist is hard. It requires expertise, diligence and patience and, most importantly, accuracy. Only real professionals can do it well. That’s why, despite having lots of professionals, we are constantly enhancing the qualification of our personnel and adopting new methods and approaches.

All people who are celebrating the Day of Chemist as their own holiday have common qualities: high responsibility, creativity and devotion.
