3rd regional scientific-practical conference “State and Prospects of Construction and Safe Operation of Volgodonsk NPP” will take place in Volgodonsk on May 29–30

The 3rd regional scientific-practical conference “State and Prospects of Construction and Safe Operation of Volgodonsk NPP” will take place at the Volgodonsk Institute of the South Russian State Technical University and the Information Center of Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Plant on May 29–30.

The organizers of the conference are the Standing Committee on Observation of the Operation and Construction of Volgodonsk NPP of the Legislative Assembly of Rostov region, the Administration of Volgodonsk, Volgodonsk NPP, regional universities and research organizations.

The program of the conference includes a plenary session, thematic conferences “Monitoring of the Technical State of the Equipment and Facilities of the 1st Unit of Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Plant,” “Enhancing the Operating Safety of the Equipment and Facilities of the 1st Unit of Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Plant,” “Ensuring the High Quality of the Construction of the 2nd Unit of Rostov Nuclear Power Plant,” “The Ecological Aspects of the Work of Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Plant” as well as a roundtable on enhancing the quality of training of personnel for Volgodonsk NPP.
