“Strings of Soul” is inviting friends

The 10th international festival of art song “Strings of Soul” will take place in the village of Somanovsky on the bank of Don River on June 12–14

Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Plant is one of the organizers of the festival.

In his invitation message, the head of the local administration Viktor Melnikov says: “Our festival is our common child. A small sapling has taken strong roots and has grown into a big magnificent tree. This year we are celebrating the 10th birthday of our festival. We all have become 10 years older but the festival is still young because friendship and art have no age. In the past years the geography of the festival has significantly enlarged and, today, we have participants from all over Russia and even from foreign countries.”

The program of the festival includes lots of interesting events. One of them is the “Paradise Apples” show with stars from Moscow N.Vysotsky and A.Zykova. Vysotsky is also in the jury of the “I Will Certainly Be Back!” contest organized on the occasion of the 70th birthday of his father, the great bard Vladimir Vysotsky.

The main guest of the festival is the People’s Artist of Russia, singer and composer Vyacheslav Malezhik.

Volgodonsk NPP has instituted a special prize.

The program of the festival includes Water Show, light show, aerial acrobatics by sportsmen of the Volgodonsk Aviation Club, balloon trips, sports events and super firework.
