Three units are in service at Smolensk NPP

They are operating safely at a total capacity of 3,015MW. In May 2008 Smolensk NPP has generated 1.55bln KWh, since the beginning of this year – a total of 8.742bln KWh.

The radiation background at Smolensk NPP and in its nearby area is within norm.
