Workers of Volgodonsk NPP are ready for new starts!

On May 26 Volgodonsk NPP bade farewell to its team who left for Kurchatov to take part in Spartakiad of Nuclear Workers of Russia

May 26 morning Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Plant and Volgodonsk saw off their team to Kurchatov (the satellite city of Kursk Nuclear Power Plant), the host of the Spartakiad of Nuclear Workers of Russia “Sport NPP 2008.”

The team of Volgodonsk NPP consists of 41 sportsmen who will contend in futsall, volleyball, ping pong, beach volleyball (women), swimming, tug-of-war, weight-lifting, field and track athletics.

The Spartakiad is starting today. 10 teams will take part in it. The captain of the team of Volgodonsk NPP, the deputy head of the sanatorium of Volgodonsk NPP Vitaly Tsukanov said: “We have been preparing for the Spartakiad for two months and will fight for the highest places only!”
