The 5th All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference «Methods and Means of Technical Protection of Information» set off at SCICET on May 27

The 5th All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference «Methods and Means of Technical Protection of Information» set off at the State Central Institute for Chief Executive Training (SCICET) on May 27 2008.

Presently, Rosatom companies are designing new technological solutions for developing the nuclear power industry of the 21st century; the managers of the sector are actively negotiating with potential consumers; we are participating in tenders for the construction of nuclear power plants and the supply of nuclear technologies and products on the world market. Here we are faced with tough rivalry on the part of trans-national corporations. That’s why we urgently need to ensure the safety and protection of information.

Representatives of the local and regional authorities, the Atomsazhitainform Center, Rosatom Crisis Center, Rosoboronexport (Russian Defense Export State Corporation), the Russian Office of Microsoft, specialists and managers of nuclear companies and research institutes as well as firms specializing in protection of information, teachers of SCICET and Moscow Engineering Physics Institute are taking part in the conference.

For 3 days 95 conferees will hear over 20 reports on technical protection of information. The cultural program of the conference includes an excursion of the military history museum of armament of armored force vehicles in Kubinka.
